After a brief overview of the historical and political contexts of zines and zine libraries, participants will make their own single-sheet mini-zines. In addition to an introduction to the Zine Cart’s suite of text-and image-making supplies, equipment, and instructional resources, participants will learn about the new Zine Cart checkout program for course-integrated learning activities as well as student group events. This workshop is open to all skill levels, and all materials will be provided.
