In this two part series, we will go through a complete process of creating with data - from finding data you care about, to creating objects that represent that data. Participants will be able to choose from a variety of making options and are encouraged
Meet the Facilitator:
Ariel is a maker educator and lab manager, she likes designing and facilitating arts- and material- based workshops. Some of her workshops include topics about gender in virtual reality, 3D scanning meaningful objects, face casting, hand embroidery, electronic textiles, laser cutting, 3D printing, and sewing with machines. Sarah is an art historian, data curator, and artist who believes in the power of play. Ofira is a social scientist with extensive experience with data wrangling, analyzing and visualization. She provides data analysis support and instruction to the campus community.
