Deadlines for amazing summer internships and fellowships are approaching - but it’s not too late to put together your application! If you’ve been looking for the right opportunity to get started, hit a roadblock, or need some feedback, we invite you to join staff from OUR, PACE, ProCES, the Writing Center, the Office of International Programs - Fellowships Advising, and HMEI for this workshop. This workshop encourages maximum flexibility so you can really focus on your personal application needs - you can drop-in and leave at any time. If you’re looking to talk with a program adviser or intern alum about: what goes into a research proposal, how to ensure your plan is feasible, what even goes into a budget, how to make a personal statement persuasive, or how to find a research mentor - this event is for you! You can craft your own experience by choosing what tables you want to join and how long you spend at each table. Maybe you want to spend an hour talking about research mentors - how to identify possibilities, request a meeting, draft an agenda, or more. Perhaps you need 30 minutes to finish, with some guidance, that stubborn budget draft. You could want to spend the whole time at the write-on-site table, moving through application requirements in a supportive community. No matter what, you’ll leave with a question answered or app section complete. And did we mention the snacks and cocoa?
