Join us on a trip to explore urban health in Philly! Urban healthcare is a unique aspect of medicine where underserved populations face challenges to acquiring adequate medical services and treatments to meet their needs. But how did this issue arise, and what is being done to address this issue? How can we think critically about addressing the complex healthcare challenges urban populations face? We'll start out with a visit to Temple's Center for Urban Bioethics to explore the unique challenge physicians face in addressing urban healthcare issues and learning about some current ongoing research projects before heading off to the Mutter Museum and Historical Medical Library for a tour of this exciting medical history museum. After a lunch at Shake Shack and desserts from Sweet Box Bakery, we'll head to University City to visit Penn CHIBE (Center for Health Incentives and Behavior Economics) to network with Princeton alumni and Drexel's Urban Health Collaborative to learn about policies, initiatives and efforts to meet the healthcare needs of urban populations. Future physicians and pre-health students won't want to miss this trip!

The only cancellations that will be accepted within 72 hours prior to the trip without the penalty fee must include a doctor’s note. Otherwise the $50 no-show fee will be charged.
