The Environmental Systems Research Institute’s (Esri’s) ArcGIS Online is a set of web-based applications to load geographic data, analyze data, create web maps and build web applications. As part of the Education Institution Agreement with Esri, anyone with a Princeton NetID, access to the Internet, and a web browser can log in to Princeton’s ArcGIS Online site and use the tools available. This session introduces ArcGIS Online to show users how to find on-line data, load data stored locally, do simple analyses, create web maps, and make web applications that allow others to explore the spatial information that is published. No previous experience with Esri software is necessary.
