This seminar explores how the rich tapestry of African heritage within economic systems generates “creative wealth,” a mode of value production that places art at the intersection of economic, social, and cultural development. This session addresses how African art is utilized, valued, and leveraged within the realms of commodity exchange, wealth building, and resource production — drawing from the perspective and experiences of African art entrepreneurs within the broad scope of creative industries.
