This live art-making class is inspired by Charles Herbert Moore's watercolor Snow Squall (1865–66). In this session, we will use warm and cool colors to create a snow scene.

Find the Zoom link for this event and the suggested materials list for this art-making class at the link.

The Museum partners with the Arts Council of Princeton to provide free virtual drawing classes, taught by artist-instructor Barbara DiLorenzo. With an emphasis on drawing with pastel on paper, each week’s lesson in this series will be inspired by an artwork in the Museum’s collections that depicts light.

This series is part of Arts and Health Mercer, a monthlong collaboration among Mercer County arts and cultural organizations that celebrates the vital role art plays in our health and well-being. Visit the Arts and Health Mercer website for a full listing of related events.

This event will include live closed captions in both English and Spanish. English captions are available directly in the Zoom toolbar by clicking the “CC” icon. To access Spanish-language captioning, open Streamtext, where you can select “Spanish” to see the live captioning.

Para acceder a los subtítulos en varios idiomas, ingrese al seminario web de Zoom durante un evento en vivo, luego abra un navegador web separado para visitar esta página donde puede seleccionar “español” o el idioma de su elección.

LATE THURSDAYS! This event is part of the Museum’s Late Thursdays programming, made possible in part by Heather and Paul G. Haaga Jr., Class of 1970.
