Meet the Facilitator:
Patrizia D'Adamo is the daughter of Italian immigrants from Abruzzo, a region on the Adriatic coast of Italy known for its savory dishes, beautiful beaches and mountain peaks. One of her favorite dishes growing up (usually made during the winter months for Sunday dinners) was gnocchi. She fondly remembers helping her mother make them and preparing for the arrival of her extended family where they would sit around the table enjoying the fruits of their labor of love through laughter and lively (loud) conversations. With her parents now gone, she continues to keep this tradition alive with her own daughters and looks forward to sharing the simple recipe and methods with the Princeton community.
What to Expect:
A meat free homemade pasta sauce will be provided for participants to enjoy the gnocchi they made along with their session mates. Red wine from the presenter's region will be provided for those who would like to indulge in the Italian tradition of wine during dinner.
