I am a comedian and disability advocate. I have spent the past two decades fighting for my right to equal access. I want to share my wisdom with the disability community at Princeton, so that they can avoid the obstacles I faced. The goal of this workshop will be to teach participants who identify as diabled how to advocate for themselves. For many University students, this their first time having to advocate for themselves. This workshop will be Disability Rights 101. I will arm participants with the knowledge necessary to destigmatize asking for accommodations. They will also be empowered to live their best lives and demand equal access not as a favor, but because it is the law. All abilities are also welcome at this workshop.
