Details

Explore this 6.9-mile loop trail, generally considered a moderately challenging route. Gertrude’s Nose Trail travels through dense wooded areas to beautiful views while trekking along various cliff edges and rock formations, starting from Millbrook Mountain all the way to Patterson's Pellet with the main highlight being Gertrude's Nose. It is recommended that visitors get to the trailhead early as this is a very popular area. Make sure to bring lots of water and get ready for some rock scrambling! This route has the potential to get wet and muddy, with lots of little creek crossings, so wear appropriate footwear. Transportation, daypacks, and hiking boots provided.
Food Provided ($10-15 on OA to buy lunch at Wawa before the trip leaves campus.)
