12:30pm- meet at wawa
12:45pm-1:45pm- travel to cheesequake nj (55min drive to “Cheesequake State Park Trail Head” which has free parking that closes at 8pm)
1:45pm-4:45pm- Hike a loop starting on the yellow trail, going to green and blue trails (clockwise on the map starting at “3”). The hike is 4-4.5 miles, low elevation change (300-500ft), and can easily be made longer or shorter. The trail appears to have many boardwalks and has a lake (Hooks Creek Lake) near the end with a cute lake beach.
5:00pm-5:45pm- Eat dinner/cheesecake at the “South Side 35 Diner” which is located next to the State Park. The menu items are $10-20 per person, covered by OA.
6:00pm-7:00pm-Head back to Princeton or Walk along Old Bridge Waterfront Trail. We will play it by ear. The trail is next to the Diner (2min drive). The trail is 2miles along the boardwalk/beach but can be any distance by turning back at any time. This stops by several beaches on the ocean, and the sun sets around 7, which will make for a nice easy/scenic walk at the end.
7:00-8:00pm- Return to Wawa campus
