Get in on the sport that continues to attract winter adventurers! Join OA for a comprehensive lesson on proper technique, stopping, turning and gliding across the snow. After our skill-building session we will take to the trails. Discover a great way to stay active, explore beloved trails from a new perspective and enjoy winter's wonderland with fellow students.

Meet in the WAWA parking lot near the Princeton Transit Center at 8:00 AM

Each participant must…
• Be able to perceive and comprehend the inherent risks of the activity, including, but not limited to, the ones previously identified by OA leaders.
• Be able to stay alert and focus attention for the duration of the class or outing.
• Be able to effectively signal or notify OA leaders of other participants of personal distress, injury or need for assistance.
• Be able to manage all personal care or activities of daily living independently or with the assistance of a companion, excluding the OA leaders.
• Be able to contribute to a safe learning environment – no harassing or abusive behavior of others for any reason.
• Be able to follow verbal and/or visual presentation independently or with assistance of a companion or adaptive equipment.
• Be able to practice Leave-No-Trace principals.
• Be able to independently, or with the assistance of a companion, put on and take off equipment.
• Be able to independently travel over and negotiate varied terrain for the duration of the program (i.e. snow depth and density while snowshoeing, XC skiing, and hiking).
