Details
Sylvia Molloy was a faculty member in the old Romance Languages Department (which in 2001 gave origin to the departments of French and Italian, and Spanish and Portuguese), and she was the first woman to receive tenure in that unit, and one of the first tenured women in the University at large. The name of the Talk Series is a timely homage to her legacy.
