Princeton’s Program in South Asian Studies is honored to host a visit from India’s most renowned documentary filmmaker, Anand Patwardhan. Patwardhan’s films deal with some of the most urgent problems of our turbulent times: from environmental justice to nationalistic nuclear competition, from class and caste struggles to the rise of unprecedented forms of theopolitics. This is a unique opportunity to see some of Patwardhan’s most powerful works in high-quality, big screen format, and to engage in discussion with this globally important director.

Free and open to the public.
