Alumni for Africa will convene at Reunions on Thu 23 May at 5PM on the Louis A Simpson Lawn. Prof. Chika Okeke-Agulu, the Director for the Program in African Studies and Director of the Africa World Initiative will be our host.

Last year, almost 150 of you had a lovely party with us, enjoying food, drinks, and entertainment. You also witnessed Chika’s big announcement about the launch of the Africa World Initiative and Princeton’s major commitment to deepening African engagement through AWI. This year, we’ll have an even better party and get to engage with recent alumni, and faculty and learn new ways to engage with Princeton.

We can’t wait to share with you the events Africa World Initiative hosted and has in the works, including:

AI technology workshop to find solutions to the challenges facing the continent.
A lecture by Abdulrazak Gurnah, Nobel Prize winner in literature 2021.
