Which neural network (NN) architecture is the best choice for solving a given task? This workshop will present a variety of NN architectures including convolutional neural networks (CNNs), graph neural networks (GNNs), generative adversarial networks (GANs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs/LSTMs), autoencoders and more.

Workshop format: Presentation and hands-on

Target audience: Researchers and students interested in learning about a wide variety of NN architectures.

Knowledge prerequisites: Some knowledge of Python and basic calculus.

Hardware/software prerequisites: Please bring a laptop for the hands-on exercises. This workshop will use Google Colab.

Learning objectives: Attendees will encounter a variety of neural network architectures and come away with a sense of how to construct an original NN to solve a given task.
