The LLM Collective is a user group for language model users of all experience levels and abilities to discuss the rapidly evolving changes in this space and create fun things.

This month's topic:

Matt Jones & Meredith Martin taught Data and Culture in Spring 24 and Spring 25. The two of them will talk about the range of uses to which the students put LLMs this past Spring, both in class (aided by Andy Janco) but primarily outside of class. What genre of discourse is the AI disclosure, and how can we be mindful of how this generation of students approaches the (perceived) necessity to know about and also know with LLMs?
