Introduction to Accelerated Data Science
Registration
Registration is now closed (this event already took place).
Details
RAPIDS is an open-source suite of GPU-accelerated data science and A.I. libraries with APIs that match the most popular open-source data tools (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NetworkX). It can significantly speed-up tasks like data loading, data analysis, and training machine learning models, which can help researchers derive insights faster and more effectively.
Prerequisite: Participants will need an account on Adroit to access and work on the materials. You can request an account here if you do not already have one: https://forms.rc.princeton.edu/registration/
Speakers
Tingyin Xiao
Princeton University
Tingyin Xiao is an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), specializing in the intersection of climate change and human migration. As an NVIDIA-certified A.I. instructor with a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences, her expertise combines climate science, social research, and data science techniques. Her current research uses AI/ML to analyze and model human migration under climate impacts.
