Do you want to be in the service of humanity, but you’re not sure how to take the next step? Successful entrepreneurs across the globe have faced this same conundrum. It’s easy to overlook the fact that social or non-profit ventures are examples of entrepreneurship, though their innovations can have enormous global impact.

In this interactive session we will discuss topics such as: Do you have an idea for how to create social impact? Or maybe you don’t have an idea, but you have the technical skills to create an innovation that could change the world? What is social entrepreneurship, really, and how can we use our current toolbox to grow it? Do we need to develop new tools entirely to support this growing field?

What to expect:
Single workshop (one-off workshop –" 2 hours total)

Meet the facilitators:
Stephanie Landers and Manda Ryan lead the eLab Accelerator and Incubator programs, which are designed to help students build their own startup ventures at Princeton. They meet and advise students on first steps and connect them to a broad network of seasoned mentors and advisors, faculty, and potential investors. Aside from their work with students, they always look to connect with individuals who are willing to lend their time and expertise to Princeton's budding entrepreneurs, whether it be in the form of mentorship, office hours, workshops, or lectures. In addition, Stephanie also manages the Keller Center’s Student Project funding program, which provides support to students pursuing research and development projects in STEM fields, as well as entrepreneurship and design thinking. Manda Ryan also supports the entrepreneurial internship program at Keller Center, Princeton Startup Immersion Program. PSIP allows students to intern with startups at three global locations, New York, Shanghai, and Tel Aviv.
