This is Part 2 of a multi-day workshop that meets on three days. To register for this workshop, please register for Part 1 and you will automatically be signed up for Parts 2 and 3 as well. (You can find Part 1 by searching the event title in MyPrincetonU.)

We have partnered with VentureWell for a Startup Bootcamp. All grad students and postdocs are welcome to join us for intensive learning about important aspects of managing a product or company to success (even if that ‘product” is you). You can bring a technology or an idea for a company, but you don’t have to. Well-balanced teams will be made –" as a group you will work together to better define your product and your market and to identify potential competitive products/companies. There will be in-class presentations and discussions, customer discussions, mentoring, and a pitch competition at the end. Students/Postdocs from all departments are welcome and encouraged to join. You may bring budgeting skills, or presentations skills, or research skills, or some of the many other skills that startup teams need to be successful. When the bootcamp is completed, each team will: 1) Be able to clearly articulate the problem they aim to solve and for whom, 2) Have a well-informed plan for technology development to create a solution that resonates for their target market, 3) Have tools to analyze potential markets to enter (value chain, competitive analysis, landscape analysis), 4) Have an action plan with objectives and key results, 5) Have a clear go or no go decision
**Please note that this session is virtual; you will receive a Zoom link a few days prior to the session**

What to expect:
The first session will be to meet you team, get an introduction to your product, and hear how the bootcamp will be managed. We expect the team to work together (offline) to develop a succinct description of their product and market before the next session. During the second and third sessions there will be a blend of presentations and individual team work. Each team will do a final presentation in front of the rest of the class and a panel of judges. The judges will select a team to win $10k to continue to develop your company.
