Join us for a primer on business fields and job functions to better understand and explore industry options for graduate students. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work in marketing? Or finance? Or public relations? Do you know what a Consumer Packaged Goods company makes? Would a startup company be a good fit for you? Let a Princeton alum and Harvard MBA take you on a guided tour of the types of industries, business fields, and job functions where Ph.D. talent is in-demand. This overview session kicks off the Accelerated Business Skills GradFUTURES Learning Cohort offered by the GradFUTURES professional development team.

In this “business world 101" workshop, you'll learn about a range of industries, what job functions exist in various companies, and consider how to determine those that might align with your interests.
