Mr. Thomas Tomezsko, Admissions Officer, will present an overview of this scholarship program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, endowed by Mr. Stephen Schwarzman. Current juniors, seniors, and alumni from all disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Schwarzman Scholars offers an unparalleled graduate program for the next generation of young leaders, anchored in a fully funded 11-month master’s degree in global affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University. The experience provides opportunities in and outside the classroom, including extensive leadership training, a network of senior mentors, opportunities to engage in high-level interactions with Chinese leaders and visiting speakers, optional internships, career development, and travel seminars around China. Scholars learn from world-class faculty and guest speakers about China’s importance on the global stage through a rigorous and dynamic core curriculum. Schwarzman Scholars prepares young leaders for a globally interconnected future and for careers in which they will join a growing alumni network of leaders who are working to build mutual understanding between China and the rest of the world.
