In today's competitive market, the ability to effectively communicate your skills, experience and leadership presence is crucial. Storytelling is a powerful and effective tool that brings your achievements to life and leaves the lasting impression it takes to land the job. This 90-minute workshop will teach you successful storytelling strategies for job interviews, the workplace, and beyond. This session will be facilitated by Rebecca Haarlow '01, an Emmy Award winning sports broadcaster.

Key Learning Outcomes:

1) Discover the formula for effective and persuasive storytelling.
2) Develop a personal story that highlights your outstanding skills and qualities.
3) Grow your confidence and practice your public speaking skills as you share your story on stage at the conclusion of the Workshop.

Rebecca Haarlow is an Emmy Award winning broadcast journalist, public speaking coach and media consultant. She can be seen on national television broadcasting NBA games for Turner Sports, NBA TV and MSG Networks. In New York, she broadcasts New York Knicks’ games. An expert storyteller, she has 20 years of broadcast experience covering college and professional sports including the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL as an anchor, host and reporter.  



As a public speaking coach and media consultant, Rebecca is the Founder of The Leadership Voice Workshop and taps into her own education in public relations, broadcasting, print writing, voice and speech training and acting to empower companies and individuals with the tools to elevate their Public Speaking skills and Leadership Voice. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and is on the Advisory Board for the Katz Institute for Women’s Health at Northwell Health Hospital.
