Inspired by her relationship to her brother, Sofia Pauca ’21 created this loving and touching 70-minute film portrait of the journeys of six families of individuals with developmental disabilities in the U.S. and Peru. (See the trailer at https://vimeo.com/showcase/9638685/video/721256985.) After the film screening, Sofia will be present for a Q&A moderated by Erin Raffety, lecturer in the Writing Program, who teaches a writing seminar on Disability Justice. Sofia is currently a medical student at Vanderbilt University and was a religion major at Princeton.

Meet the Facilitator: Matthew Lazen is the Assistant Dean for Dtudies at Butler College. Elizabeth Erickson is the Director of the Office of Disability Services. Seth Perry is Associate Professor of Religion and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Religion. Kate Fukawa-Connelly is Director of Health Professions Advising.
