Want to practice restoration and recharge this winter? Join us for a yoga and mindfulness workshop at Gratitude Yoga in Princeton (86 Nassau Street, 2nd Floor). We will do a restorative yoga practice, meditation, journaling, and discussion. All abilities are welcome. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothes to stretch and meditate. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, otherwise you may barrow a studio mat. Bring a personal journal if you have one, otherwise we will have extra paper. Any questions, please email kittyhelm@princeton.edu.

Meet the facilitator:
Kitty Helm. Kitty is a 200-hour RYT certified Yoga Instructor currently teaching at Gratitude Yoga in Princeton. Kitty is working towards her 300 hour certification. She enjoys practicing and teaching Baptist style power yoga, vinyasa flows, and deep stretch classes. Off the yoga mat she is completing a sustainability fellowship at Princeton University. She strongly believes yoga is a joyful practice that serves your body, mind, and spirit. Take what you need and let go of what doesn't serve you! Gemma Farrell, Gratitude Studio Owner. Gemma has studied various styles of yoga, including Iyengar, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Sivananda, Jivamukti, Yin, Insight, and Integral Yoga. Her current approach to teaching fuses the precise alignment principles of Iyengar yoga with the freedom and creativity of a Vinyasa Flow practice while incorporating the deeper release stretching and meditative aspects of Yin Yoga. Gemma sees yoga as a vehicle for self-discovery and a means for increasing awareness of the present moment, an opportunity to cultivate wisdom and compassion, and above all, an invitation to foster a spirit of devotion and open our hearts to love and serve others. When she is not experiencing the transcendent effects of yoga and meditation, she is celebrating the greatest joy of her life: her five beautiful children and her wonderful husband. Gratitude Yoga offers a variety of physical and spiritual practices that nurture gratitude and deepen our desire to serve and benefit others.
