Faculty, student and staff struggle with formatting in Word and rarely know how to use styles, headings, hanging indents, captions, page numbering, and footnotes. Grad students and faculty also struggle with CVs, manuscripts, dissertations, and articles. Learn to use the easy productivity tools in Word and how to recognize and fix oddities in your document. Using Styles will also increase the Accessibility of your document when it is converted into a PDF.

Meet the facilitator:
My name is Julie Angarone, Computer Support in Art & Archaeology. I have 20+ years of experience with Word formatting and can increase your productivity with a few simple strategies. I typically offer one-on-one sessions with seniors during thesis season, but would like to help people earlier in the process, and address a larger audience. I have an Masters in Technical Communication from NJIT and a Masters in Instruction from Drexel University and I am a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies.

To request accommodations for this event, please contact the workshop or event facilitator at least 3 working days prior to the event.
