First-year students! Are you interested in continued learning and exploration of the greater Princeton community? Join Community Action as we visit the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University for a guided tour of their Soviet nonconformist collection. Over 20,000 works by more than 1,000 artists reveal a culture that defied the strict, state-imposed conventions of Socialist Realism. This encyclopedic array of nonconformist art extends from about 1956 to 1991, and includes nonconformist art produced in many of the Soviet republics. Details about the time and location of bus departure will be emailed directly to participants.

Meet the facilitator:
As the Community Action Program Coordinator, Alex support the operational and logistical scope of Community Action by developing and facilitating training sessions, retreats, and other programming to deepen student learning and strengthen leadership development. Alex also works to advise students, especially first-years, on pathways for continued service engagement post-CA. This program is sponsored by the John H. Pace Jr. '39 Center for Civic Engagement.
