What if my experiment fails? What if I cannot pass the general exams? What if the job market is really bad when I complete my program, and I cannot find a job? Does the uncertainty in these “what-if”s distract you from what you need to do at the moment and keep you awake late at night? How do we better tolerate and forge a positive relationship with the uncertainties in our lives and even use them as opportunities for creative exploration and continued growth? In this workshop, you will learn about the science behind how our brain works when faced with uncertainty and explore strategies to build resilience and sustained motivation.
