The International Interoperable Image Framework (IIIF) is an open standard for delivering high-quality digital images and other media in use at libraries, museums, and archives around the world, including Princeton University Library and the Princeton University Art Museum. This session, led by Ben Johnston, Senior Educational Technologist at the McGraw Center, will provide an introduction to the framework, explain why it is important, and explore how it can be used to create course assignments centered on digital collections, digitized manuscripts, and works of art.
