Faculty Canvas Course: Inclusive and Equitable Pedagogy

This session will offer faculty who are participating in the McGraw Canvas site on Equitable and Inclusive Teaching a chance to drop in to ask any questions or discuss any issues you may be experiencing as you are planning for or teaching your course(s). Please feel free to use this as a time to check in with colleagues or consult with the course facilitators on topics of interest related to equitable teaching. We are happy to review materials you are developing; talk through class plans; discuss concerns regarding sensitive material or difficult conversations; brainstorm ideas for alternative, inclusive approaches to assessments; or discuss any other issues of concern to you. This is a low-stakes opportunity to talk through or develop approaches to equitable teaching with supportive colleagues in an informal, friendly setting.
These office hours are offered to support our professional development site for faculty on equitable and inclusive teaching, which you can sign up for here. However, you need not be directly involved with or participating in the course to attend the office hours. Please feel free to come to one or all of these monthly meetings!
