Lauren Wittenberg Weiner, PhD Guarini '99, is a bestselling author, speaker, and one of today’s leading voices at the intersection of leadership, service, and integrity. A graduate of Dartmouth College, where she earned her PhD in psychology, Lauren pivoted from academia to public policy after graduation with a job at the White House Office of Management and Budget.

As the founder and former CEO of WWC Global, one of the country’s top woman-owned national security firms, she knows what it means to lead with values in high-stakes environments. Her book, Unruly: Deconstruct the Rules, Defy the Norms, and Define Your Success, is a rallying cry for those who want to challenge the system—without losing themselves in the process. Lauren helps people find their own power, not by burning it all down, but by showing up differently within it.

Presented by Dartmouth. This program is part of the Ivy+ Virtual Open Access Graduate Student Professional Development Series, created and cross-promoted by deans and directors at Berkeley, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, UChicago, and Yale to help meet the professional development needs of all Ph.D. and master’s students.
