This session will focus on gaining transparency of faculty life. You will gain understanding of the range of skills that are critical for getting hired as a faculty and successfully conducting the diverse responsibilities of faculty including developing an independent research direction, securing funding, leading finances and people in a lab, and mentoring trainees. Faculty and staff speakers from Princeton University will lead discussion of skills and responsibilities involved in leading independent research.
